ABOUT:

Good Vibe Contest is a fictional song contest, created and hosted by Olga (the one from Latvia). 

The contest was known for its themed editions, but, since edition 13 (April 2018), some rules changed and there will be no more themed editions.

HISTORY:

Contest was started in March 2016.

Right away it was known that this contest is unlike any other - it didn't had countries, just players.

In the very first edition (then - season), there were 5 rounds (then - weeks). 32 people applied to participate in first season. In each round players were given different genre and they had to choose a song for it. After all 5 rounds, all results were counted together and the winner was the one, who collected the most points in all rounds.

The second season was started a week after the results of the first season. The amount of participants reached 40, and some rules changed - all participants had to choose a song for the same theme. There were 4 rounds in total, after each round players with the lowest score were eliminated. The winner was announced on June 30, 2016.

After that, contest took a long pause.

It was renewed in December 2018. The new format was fictional countries. Each edition had different theme, which you can read about in the section "EDITIONS".

Recap of the first edition of renewed Good Vibe Contest was uploaded on Olga's 19th birthday, on December 18.

After edition 5, another pause was held, but it returned again in June 2017, and is still going on.

In January 2018 it was announced that there will be a special event - Good Vibe Tournament, which was a combination of the original Good Vibe Contest series with the renewed Good Vibe Contest.
